Beckman Coulter Inc. began shipping the new nanoVette microliter accessory for DU 800 and DU 730 UV/Vis Spectrophotometers. Ideal for DNA and protein applications, the cuvette-sized nanoVette accepts sample sizes as small as 0.7µL and is offered with interchangeable 0.2mm and 1mm path-length lids. Designed for precise fit in the Beckman Coulter spectrophotometers, the nanoVette can be loaded and cleaned without removing it from the instrument. The sample can also be recovered for future analysis. Beckman Coulter’s DU 730 model for life science applications includes advanced tools for protein and nucleic acid analysis, including determination of dye incorporation percentage for microarrays and a set of DNA/protein calculation and conversion tools.
