The xCELLigence RTCA HT by Roche Applied Science is an addition to the xCELLigence family of label-free cell monitoring systems.

The instrument uses electrical impedance measurements to acquire kinetic profiles of cell populations cultured on plates that feature inter-digitated gold microelectrode coverage across approximately 70% to 80% of each well surface.

Designed for high-throughput screening on robotic platforms, the instrument has the ability to integrate up to four 384-well plate stations, measure the effects of endogenous receptor activity, and perform short-term and long-term experiments.
