ChemImage Corporation, Pittsburgh, Pa., will present and exhibit at the 37th Annual Meeting and Exposition of the Controlled Release Society, July 10-14 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.

Recent findings will be the focus of ChemImage’s educational seminars. Releasing Technologies Workshop: Using RCI to Characterize Controlled Release Systems, presented by Oksana Olkhovyk, senior scientist, on July 11 will discuss how wide-field RCI can be used to improve product performance by gaining a better understanding of the formulation design and manufacturing process. 

A poster presentation, RCI Characterization of Layered Homogeneity in Controlled Release Beads—also by Olkhovyk—on July 14, describes how RCI, coupled with optical microscopy, was applied to investigate coating integrity and thickness in commercial controlled release beads used in a common generic antidepressant drug.
