NanoInk’s Nano BioDiscovery Division’s NanoArray Assay System is a desktop unit for proteomic labs.

The platform, based on NanoInk’s patented, tip-based Dip Pen Nanolithography technology, can create reproducible protein arrays over millimeter areas with nanometer accuracy and then fluorescently image the nanoarrays at high resolution.

Components of the system include the NanoArrayer 3000, the NanoScan 900 Scanner, and software for array patterning and data acquisition and image analysis. When combined with the company’s  automatable proteomic assays, the system can be used for the detection, identification, and quantitation of clinically relevant proteins from sample types.

The system can deposit uniform protein features in the area occupied by one spot on a conventional protein microarray. The miniaturization and precision enables high throughput protein analysis on a single slide;   arrays can be customized. Multiplexed proteins can be patterned into each sub-array, and modified assay slides can be produced in 18, 48, and 96 sub-array formats.
